Karya Kreatif Banten 2022: A Offline Exhibition Hosted by Bank Indonesia
The Karya Kreatif Banten 2022 offline exhibition was a resounding success, held from May 20 to 22, 2022. Organized by the Banten Provincial Government, Bank Indonesia (Banten Province), and various banking and e-commerce partners, the event featured a diverse program. Activities included seminars, talk shows, educational sessions, business matching, MSME product curation, exhibitions of digital- and export-oriented MSME products, showcases of digital implementation, entertainment, competitions, tourism promotion, and Sharia economic development. Hosted at Summarecon Mall Serpong, the exhibition featured one main stage and two additional stages. "The Forum"—the main stage—served as the venue for the event's highlights, including the opening ceremony, talk shows, fashion shows, performances by Indonesian musicians and artists, a MURI record-breaking attempt, and the closing ceremony. Surrounding the stage were numerous booths where local artisans and entrepreneurs from Banten displayed and sold their products. The event also hosted engaging competitions such as Stand-Up Comedy, the "Foto Kopi" (Coffee Photo) contest, and "Banker’s Idol."
A short distance from The Forum was "The Circle," another stage dedicated to the exhibition. The Circle served as a gathering point for culinary entrepreneurs from Banten to showcase and sell their products. Transactions at The Circle utilized QRIS, making it convenient for the public to make purchases. Finally, the "Broadway" stage hosted the "Battle Racik Kopi Jawara" (Champion Coffee Brewing Battle), which began with a talk show and a coffee-making demonstration by renowned Indonesian barista Muhammad Aga.
This offline exhibition features around 50 curated MSMEs specializing in fashion, crafts, and culinary products. In addition to the exhibition itself, various events are being held to enliven the occasion, such as a MURI record-breaking attempt for the largest number of tower-shaped *jojorong* cakes featuring unique designs.
