Exploring Jakarta’s MICE Potential: A Collaboration Between St. Regis and the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency

The St. Regis MICE Familiarization Trip, organized in collaboration with the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf DKI Jakarta), was designed to showcase Jakarta’s potential as a comprehensive, dynamic, and world-class MICE destination. The event offered participants firsthand experiences of the hospitality, urban mobility, history, and culture that serve as the capital city's key attractions.

Through a series of visits to various city landmarks, participants experienced firsthand how Jakarta serves as a venue capable of accommodating diverse needs across the meetings, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) sectors. From the city's vibrant atmosphere to its well-preserved cultural heritage, the journey showcased Jakarta’s character as a destination that continues to evolve.
Held on May 22, 2026, the event served not only as an opportunity to explore the destination but also as a platform to strengthen connections and foster collaboration. Each stop along the way contributed to a broader narrative highlighting Jakarta’s capacity to host a wide range of national and international events.
The experience also highlighted the blend of premium hospitality and local richness that defines Jakarta’s identity. Participants enjoyed an informative and interactive journey that provided a tangible insight into the city's potential as a hub for business and tourism.

By partnering with Groovy EO as the event organizer, the St. Regis MICE Familiarization Trip—held in collaboration with the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf)—was executed with seamless coordination, a well-structured itinerary, and a comfortable experience for all participants.
