ISV Solutions Day Offline Event Presented by Intel Indonesia
The Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Solutions Day 2022—an indoor exhibition organized through the collaboration of Synnex Metrodata Indonesia and Intel Indonesia—was successfully held on Wednesday, July 27, at Hotel Borobudur, Central Jakarta. It was an enjoyable day for both organizers and invited guests to mingle and explore the exhibition booths. This session served as the opening for the ISV Solutions Day event, which continued with a talk show. Attendees gained valuable insights from speakers regarding scalable, comprehensive solutions that deliver solid business results and lay the groundwork for a smarter future.
Twelve partner booths were set up within the event ballroom, showcasing innovative digital products developed by local talent—solutions designed to benefit everyday life. Guests were encouraged to visit each booth for business-to-business discussions and to participate in an engaging activity: the "Stamp Card" challenge. Attendees could collect stamps from the 11 participating booths to earn exclusive merchandise. The event also welcomed VIP guests who attended in person at the Hotel Borobudur ballroom, including Mr. Troy Smith (Intel Global Solutions Aggregator Director), Mr. Hank Chiang (PMP | Intel SEA Distribution Business Manager), and Mr. Lie Heng (Director of PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia).
ISV Solutions Day 2022 Activities
After the networking session, participants returned to their seats as the first speaker of the ISV Solutions Day—responsible for global IoT channel distribution and programs within Intel’s global partner organization—prepared to open the talk show with the topic "Intel Journey and Partnership." He manages sales programs, solution promotions, and partnerships across various segments of the IoT value chain—including traditional Intel component distributors and IoT Solution Aggregators—to accelerate the scaling of IoT solutions worldwide.
This individual possesses over 25 years of experience in engineering, marketing, sales, and management within the semiconductor industry, spanning various communications and embedded technology initiatives; he is Mr. Troy Smith, Intel’s Director of Global Solution Aggregators. The second speaker is an IT industry professional expert in managing the complexities and diversity of over 65 product vendors and more than 4,500 resellers—with expertise in business development, product management, and channel distribution and expansion—Mr. Lie Heng, Director of PT Synnex Metrodata Indonesia. Addressing the topic "AI and Ecosystem," Mr. Lie announced that SMI is evolving beyond its reputation as a hardware and software distributor to become a digital solutions provider, offering end-to-end services. This transformation is evidenced by the collaboration between Synnex Metrodata Indonesia and Intel Indonesia to build an AiOT (Artificial Intelligence of Things)-based solutions ecosystem. Their mission is clear: to build a business focused entirely on Artificial Intelligence solutions in Indonesia.
To break up the proceedings, the organizers arranged prize-winning games for the attendees—an activity designed to shake off drowsiness and refocus everyone's attention before the third speaker took the stage: Mr. Rissandi, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Lenna AI. Representing an Indonesian company that delivers 100% world-class solutions, the CCO introduced Lenna AI—a chatbot technology provider—and discussed OMNI-messaging solutions applicable across various industries. He also highlighted Lenna AI’s success in winning the Edge AI competition organized by SMI. Overall, Mr. Rissandi’s presentation focused on the themes of speed and efficiency through technology.
The final speaker at ISV Solutions Day presented a fascinating application that is 100% made in Indonesia. When discussing data, we inevitably talk about volume and the resulting need for massive storage capacity; we require superior compression solutions—not just for files, but for network bandwidth as well.
